The generational diversity in your businesses and companies is very heterogeneous. From Baby Boomers to Gen Z, there are different values, work styles, and characteristics. Starting in autumn 2026, the next trainees and young professionals will be ready to begin their careers.
But what makes these young people tick? Are we expecting young talents with a high affinity for digital technology, shaped by numerous crises and problems, as well as global and political challenges? These fascinating worlds need to be understood, strengthened, and fostered.
The L|MC Logistics and Mobility Cluster Göttingen | Southern Lower Saxony, together with the Logistics Portal Lower Saxony e.V., has been informing businesses and companies for several years about the key topic: skilled workers and employees . Our nationwide online format offers expert knowledge, best practices, and important information for your business and company management.
His knowledge of digitalization is impressive, and he is happy to share it with us. Johannes Loxen founded his IT company back in 1997. Harwin Maas, from the Institute for Generational Research in Augsburg, raises awareness among his audience. As a founder, board member, and futurist, he provides well-founded answers based on scientific studies to facilitate successful collaboration. Thanks to the initiative of the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Hannover) , you will gain further insights and the necessary skills for your work.
The interactive panel discussion will offer a practical perspective. We'll be speaking with a 10th-grade class from the Bovenden Integrated Comprehensive School. You'll hear unfiltered insights from students about how young people entering the workforce envision or expect companies and businesses to be.
Finally, all open questions will be clarified in the conclusion and discussion round.
Take advantage of the opportunity for direct exchange and dialogue.

Urban heat islands, air pollution, noise – our cities are becoming stress zones, and the climate crisis is exacerbating the problems. But how can we live healthy lives in an environment that makes us sick? This question is the focus of our online event, "Opportunities for Health-Promoting Urban Development." With Professor Heike Köckler (Bochum University of Applied Sciences), we will discuss how urban planning, mobility, and living environments shape our health today – and what solutions exist for heat, air pollution, and other environmental stressors.
Not everyone is equally affected by the consequences of the climate crisis. But how can we prevent climate protection and adaptation measures from themselves leading to new injustices – for example, when short-term, isolated projects are implemented instead of sustainable, socially just, ecological, and climate-sensitive urban development, and when the affected population groups are not involved? Larissa Federmann and Dirk Gansefort will also present the activities of LVG & AFS in the field of climate change and health – from projects and training programs to information and networking activities.
Health promotion and prevention have always been core aspects of nursing. Community Health Nursing builds on this foundation, shifting the focus from the individual case to the broader community. This presentation traces this development: from early community-based nursing approaches and international models to current debates in Germany. The central question is what happens when nursing professionals are permanently embedded in the community, when home visits not only ensure care but also anticipate risks, facilitate transitions, and practically implement prevention. This is precisely where Community Health Nursing (CHN) becomes politically and professionally relevant. CHN nurses work where care is currently lacking: for chronically ill older adults, in socially disadvantaged neighborhoods, and in rural areas with limited infrastructure. International models demonstrate that nursing in these settings is more than just a supplement to medical care. CHN nurses manage care processes, ensure continuity of care, identify over- and under-provision, and intervene before everyday problems escalate into medical treatment needs.

Discover how digital resilience empowers people aged 50+ to become active shapers of digital transformation at the KörberHaus Hamburg-Bergedorf on June 9th and 10th, 2026 .
In 2024 and 2025, our focus was on the significance of artificial intelligence in demographic change and the potential of older people in the networked society. In 2026, the focus shifts to the "superpower" of digital resilience. Together with strong partners, we are finding answers to the question: How can we, as a society, cleverly utilize the opportunities presented by aging and digitalization – and what will help us do so?
