The (fossil-free) transformation of our energy system is in full swing, and battery storage is the key to making renewable energies usable in a way that is system-friendly, economical, and reliable. Against this backdrop, the Hamburg Energy Building Center, together with NAEXT, Frank ECO Energy, Scada, and Hosenso, cordially invites you to the 1st Hamburg Battery Day. For this event, we have secured leading figures from science, the energy industry, and business practice who will provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and future of battery storage in their presentations.
Become part of the third networking congress of the Bavarian battery industry and experience with us:
The Bavarian battery strategy is being launched – stay tuned for the announcement by State Minister Hubert Aiwanger.
Networking – We facilitate on-site industry- and application-related exchange with industry and research.
Exhibition – Show what you've got! The exhibition is a great place to start a conversation. Showcase your products and learn about current trends and technologies.
Technology – An exciting program awaits you. Not only are lithium-ion batteries developing rapidly, but redox flow batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and next-gen technologies are also topics of discussion.
Start-ups – here Bavaria shows how to bring innovations from research into industry and how strong the start-up landscape in Bavaria is.
With the support of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy, Economy and Regional Development, we want to better network the industry, highlight current topics and show the support options for stakeholders.
This year at Hannover Messe 2026, we will provide once again valuable insights into innovative approaches and current trends in battery and hydrogen technology.
Same as last year, we are pleased to welcome Niedersachsen.next with its initiative federally funded project TraWeBa – Transformations-HUB Value Chain Battery as co-organizer.
Join us for the event "INNO-HyBat: Battery and Hydrogen Technologies" where experts from both science and industry will explore cutting-edge developments and technological trends in these fields.
The Göttingen conference on current developments in the energy supply system has been held by the Federal Network Agency in cooperation with the Energy Research Centre of Lower Saxony since 2009.
It is aimed at representatives from companies, associations, consultants, government agencies, and academia. As a working conference, it strives to provide interdisciplinary, practical discussion contributions and impetus.

Topic: Hydrogen Worldwide – Best Practices & International Affairs. Friday morning, 10:00 a.m.: A delicious cup of coffee or tea and a relaxed online discussion with people from the hydrogen world – that's Hydrogen Coffee. This regular networking event takes place (almost) every third Friday of the month via Zoom to discuss the most relevant current topics in the industry. On January 30, 2026, we welcome Vanessa Grimm-Rohn and Jan Schulte from Fichtner Management Consulting. Fichtner is a globally active planning and consulting firm in the energy sector. Under the title "Hydrogen Worldwide: Best Practices & International Affairs," they will provide us with a well-founded overview of the international hydrogen landscape and show where projects are already being successfully implemented.
